By accessing or using Ignio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Ignio is a personal expense assistant that works via WhatsApp. The Service helps users track expenses through text messages, voice notes, and receipt photos. Ignio uses AI technology to extract structured information from your inputs and organize your financial data.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must connect your WhatsApp number. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Subscription and Payments
Ignio offers a paid subscription plan:
- Price: $12.99/month
- Payments are processed securely through our payment provider
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time with no fees or penalties
- Your access continues until the end of the paid period
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share your account credentials with others
- Send malicious content, spam, or material that violates third-party rights
6. Data Processing
By using the Service, you:
- Consent to processing of your messages, images, and audio for data extraction
- Understand that we use third-party services (OCR, audio transcription) to process your inputs
- Acknowledge that data extraction accuracy may vary
- May correct any incorrectly extracted data through the Service
7. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (WhatsApp, Google Calendar). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective platforms' terms of service. Ignio is not responsible for any changes to third-party APIs or services.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding of Ignio are the property of Ignio or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The accuracy of data extraction from receipts and audio is not guaranteed.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ignio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Errors in data extraction or categorization
- Loss of data or service interruption
- Financial decisions made based on data from the Service
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:
- All your data will be removed per our Privacy Policy
- No refund will be provided for partially used periods
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. For users in Brazil, Brazilian law including LGPD applies. For users in the EU, GDPR provisions apply. For users in the US, applicable state and federal laws apply.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall preferably be resolved through friendly negotiation. If not possible, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
